On Wednesday May 8, Brother FC Brian Souza will receive his MM degree from the Motorcycle Brotherhood Riders of Delaware. On Tuesday May 14th, The Delaware Colonials will be at Jackson to confer the MM degree on Brother FC Rob Testa. Brothers, please try to attend these degrees and welcome our newest Master Masons.

Our month will also include a Jackson Lodge Day at The Wilmington Blue Rocks on Sunday May 5th, our annual “Ladies at the Table” table lodge will be held Saturday May 11th at 6 PM at the Delaware City Fire Hall. Bring your ladies to this wonderful evening and celebrate Mother’s Day a night early! Tickets are $25.00 PP. and are available at Jackson19.com, or by calling me.

On Saturday May 18th , Jackson Lodge will host its 3rd annual Race Day Fundraiser. This year we have added 2 races to the card. First, we will hold a 26.2 Mile certified marathon called “Conquer the Canal” along the Mike Castle Trail. This race starts at 7 AM. Next up is the “Headwind Hustle” a certified 5K, which starts at 730 AM, and finally, the “Jackson 5K”. This is a fun, walk/run 5K. This Fun Race starts at 8 AM but can be done anytime throughout the day. We will have food vendors, and beer/soda sales, a Kid’s zone, DJ, and displays from Delaware City Fire Company. On Sunday May 19th Jackson Lodge #19 has been invited by our brothers from Solomon Lodge #36 to march with them in the Newark Memorial Day Parade. We will meet at Solomon Lodge #36 at 1130 AM, after the parade we will return to Solomon for Hotdogs/Hamburgers. Brothers we need your help for all the events. We have a community service event “Flags @ the Veteran’s Cemetery” scheduled for Friday May 17th at 7 AM. Please contact me if you will be participating.
